New Weekly Short Story Writing Challenge

I have decided to make some sort of writing challenge that I myself will participate in. I will have you – the viewers – send in a few topics that you think will be good to use for these challenges. I will then label them and draw them out of a basket or something; then whatever comes out that will be the weekly challenge.

A topic idea can be a few sentences, or just one word. Anything will do.

Then, whenever somebody participates, they will send in their story. I am not sure what I would do from there, but this is just something fun to do in your spare time. I may just make some tag that you will put your posts under. Comment if you have any ideas.

These “short stories” are good practices for writing. Whatever comes to your mind first should be what you write about. It’s basically something to help expand the creative side of your brain. I will make a minimum paragraph/word requirement so everyone has a goal to aim for when writing these stories.

Please Note: Anything inappropriate or extremely vulgar will not be counted. Also please refrain from spamming.

The Tales of Camellia

Book 1:

500 years after World War III, Camellia Rose lives in a world with no electricity. During the 500th year festival, Cam’s village is suddenly attacked by a group of strange men. In a twisted turn of events, Cam is knocked unconscious and her sister is taken from her along with a bunch of other children. With the help of her friends, Cam decides to go on an adventure to find her sister and to solve this kidnapping mystery. However, whilst in the middle of the adventure, Cam and friends discover a new plot that could affect the entire planet, and now the friends must make new friends while trying to figure out what to do about this worldwide plot.

That is the basic summary for the first book. I have yet to write the second and third summaries, but I want to worry about that when I actually get there.

The symbol below is the symbol of the “Kriegerin Brotherhood.” It is not exactly finished yet, cause it looks very easy to make. I am not very good at making things that look realistic, so that is going to take me a while. I can try to edit that every once in a while, but I may just have somebody else do it. Right below that is the Prophecy that these books are based on.

The Kriegerin Brotherhood Project

As of today, I am officially starting the Kriegerin Brotherhood series as my latest project. I will be posting something related to the series a few times a week, or at least try. I can not post everyday, because eventually I would just be giving away too much info about the series. Plus, for the first half of my project time I would be in school and such.

This project will last for about 15 years. Yes, that is a long time, but there will be a lot of books. This may take me longer if necessary.

I have started the first book of the Tales of Camellia Trilogy, but have not come up with an official title. So far, I think a good title will be Roses Beginning. Other options I have are, The Roses Dream and Blossom.

The Prophecy this trilogy is based on:

A Rose will blossom and will brighten the Blackened Age.

I got the titles from the prophecy, except for The Roses Dream, which represents Cam’s dream.

For the full title, it will have “the tales of Camellia,” plus the book’s title. So the full title for the first book would be, The Tales of Camellia and the Roses Beginning.

The second book might be titled, The Tales of Camellia and the Blade’s Secret, and the third book does not yet have a title.

I am doing this to become fully dedicated in my writing. I am excited about the future and am ready to be on the creative side of my brain.
